Commercial Photography
Roslyn works with a wide range of clients across many different industries to provide photographic services customised to suit their needs.

Mining + Industrial PHOTOGRAPHY
Roslyn specialises in capturing authentic images in the industrial sector by providing photography and timelapse of construction, operations, equipment, business assets, corporate portraits and events, and corporate image libraries.
Roslyn has previous industry experience of over 15 years hands on experience as a geologist and training coordinator, in underground mining, and exploration and has developed a special interest in industrial, mining and aerial photography. Roslyn has a strong appreciation for all safety aspects when working on sites, not only for herself, but for those working around her. When photographing in mining and industrial environments, she understands the importance of working efficiently to minimise any downtime in production and providing a level of flexibility in timeframes should it be necessary to extend or reschedule a work task, as often happens in the industrial workspace.
AERIAl & Drone PHOTOGRAPHY
Aerial photography provides a unique viewpoint of a project site and can give perspective to how the project sits within the broader context of the town/region. When considering an aerial perspective there are some significant differences between traditional aerial photography and drone photography. Budd Photography can offer both services and will discuss the options with clients to determine the most appropriate decision.
What is involved?
Aerial photography via helicopter allows a lot of ground to be covered in a short period of time and can provide a higher and broader range of view compared to drone operations. Drone photography is restricted to CASA designated zones and maximum height is only 120m which can be limiting in certain circumstances. Both helicopter and drone photography rely on clear weather conditions to obtain the best results and Roslyn will also discuss the best times of day with regard to sun angles, flight scheduling and specific features that need to be captured.
Stephen is a CASA certified drone pilot and, where possible, the drone flights are conducted as team flights with Stephen and Roslyn together.

what is involved?
Our time-lapse cameras are purpose built to endure the harsh conditions of weather and time. Project timeframes can range from weeks to months to years and our systems are built to be reliable and stand the test of time.
Our clients are given secure access to view the construction progress remotely through a web portal that provides options for various viewing and downloading of images during the construction progress.
Videography can be a powerful way to capture your story and an important part of your marketing toolkit to attract the right clients and build business credibility. Budd Photography will collaborate with local videographers when a team approach is required for videography and photography for project outcomes.

Roslyn and Stephen have over 25 years experience in photographing childcare centres, primary schools, secondary schools and sporting groups across North and Western Queensland.
Based on client requests, custom packages are provided, and we pride ourselves on friendly service, efficient timeframes, and high quality products. Budd Photography also has extensive experience in presenting marketing images for schools and childcare centres and quotes for commissioned work are provided on request.
