After delivering the timelapse capture for Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville, we were grateful to be offered the opportunity to work with the team from BESIX Watpac again — this time on One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha in Christchurch.

It’s been fantastic to capture the build journey over 4 years, from April 2022 through to completion in March 2026.

To support delivery in New Zealand, we partnered with Tempus, who brought their established local operations and technical timelapse expertise to the project. The cameras were custom modified to withstand the long project duration, exposed site conditions and cold Christchurch winters — and ran beautifully throughout.

Across the project, over 1 million individual photos were captured and used to create this engaging visual of the stadium coming to life — condensed down to less than 60 seconds.
