There is something very special about living in Outback Queensland.  The heart of the country would be the people that have made it what it is today, not least of which would be the old time drovers.  Camooweal Drovers Festival is a celebration of the days of droving.  We took the opportunity to have a campout for the weekend and soak up the atmosphere (along with about 3000 other onlookers).  The weekend was relaxing and entertaining.  I’m thinking we will have to put it in our calendar again for next year.
