Over the last 3 years I have had the absolute privilege to work with the team at Health Workforce Queensland to photograph and video the inaugural cohort of students participating in the GROW Rural program in Central Queensland.

The program introduces medical and allied health students to rural and remote health and communities, with an aim to promote rural locations as an option for the students to consider as part of their career path. My role was to capture photos and videos to document the weekends and I would have to say these weekends have been absolute highlights over the last 3 years and such a rewarding experience to spend time with a group of amazing students with big futures ahead for them. The communities were so welcoming and the students really bonded and became like family even after the first year.

Below are the links to the 3 years of the program, showing the highlights and activities.  For any medical or allied health students wanting to explore the options of rural careers then I would highly recommend this sensational program.
